Dr. Phua graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1981 with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery. He then obtained his Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1997.

Past President of the Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, Vice President of the Medico-Legal Society Singapore and Executive Council member of the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore. He is also a Fellow and Regent of the International College of Dentists (Region 25).

A dental clinician with a passion to teach and share with other practicing dentists in the neighboring regions. He is in private practice and is a partner of TP Dental Surgeons, one of the largest group practice in a single practice location in Singapore.
