MD.Sc, DDS, MSc, PhD — Specialist in Laser Dentistry

Dr Seyed Masoud Mojahedi holds a Medical Science degree and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery, together with a Master of Science and a PhD in Lasers in Dentistry, both from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. He subsequently completed a further doctorate in periodontal laser therapy at the University of Bonn, Germany.

He has served as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Bonn since 2015 and is an Executive Board member of the International Society for Laser Dentistry (ISLD). From 2007 to 2015 he was an academic co-worker at the Aachen Dental Laser Centre and an adjunct faculty member at RWTH Aachen University. He also holds an appointment as Guest Professor at the Laser Dental Research Centre at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran.

Dr Mojahedi serves as an editor of the International Journal of Laser Dentistry, Germany, and of Lasers in Medical Science. He has published more than fifty scientific articles and is the author of three books on the clinical use of lasers, including Diode Lasers in Dentistry (2014), the university textbook Lasers in Dentistry (2016) and Clinical Application of Lasers in Dentistry (2018).
