Larissa Steigmann received her first dental degree (D.M.D) from the Goethe University of Frankfurt in 2019. She then continued her education in the Periodontics & Oral Medicine Master's Program at the University of Michigan. Concomitant to her Periodontal Speciality, she obtained her Master of Science in Periodontology and graduated in 2022. Dr Steigmann conducted numerous research projects in the field of oral health and implant rehabilitation, of which several have been published in peer-reviewed international journals. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer for journals. Since 2022, she has been a member of the faculty at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity, Division of Periodontology, where she compassionately supports the dental education of students. Concomitantly, she works in the Giannobile Lab and pursues research directed towards personalised medicine. Dr Steigmann received multiple awards for her excellent academic achievements, as well as personal motivation to move dental regeneration forward.
