Dr Fadi Khuffash leads fully booked composite restoration course at the CAPP Training Institute

A full room of dental professionals spent two days at the bench with Dr. Fadi Khuffash, working through anterior and posterior composite restorations from first layer to final polish, with a repeat course now confirmed for December 2026.

CAPP Events & Training concluded the hands-on course Composite Restorations — Anterior and Posterior, Layering, Shaping and Rubber Dam Isolation on 11 and 12 September 2026 at the CAPP Training Institute in Dubai. The two-day programme, led by Dr. Fadi Khuffash, reached full capacity ahead of the opening session and was supported by Ultradent and Elwan.

Participants moved between theory and bench exercises throughout both days, covering dental adhesives and contemporary composite materials, layering techniques for the reproduction of natural translucency and chroma, tooth anatomy as the basis for sculpting, and finishing and polishing protocols aimed at seamless margins and surface texture. Colour management ran through the programme, giving participants a framework for predictable aesthetic outcomes.

Rubber dam isolation formed the closing component, with practical sessions placing the technique within the wider restorative sequence rather than treating it as a separate exercise. The course addressed clinicians working in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics and restorative dentistry, and was led throughout by Dr. Fadi Khuffash, who worked directly with participants at the bench.
