Minimal Invasive Full Mouth Reconstruction with Chairside CAD-CAM Technology: A Clinical Protocol.
CAD-CAM systems are gaining increasing popularity both in dental laboratories and in numerous dental clinics worldwide. With the use of intraoral scanners and small milling units, practitioners are able to deliver definitive monolithic restorations in a one patient visit. Dental clinics can easily fabricate single units and short fixed partial dentures experiencing highly successful restorations. However, when the patient requires a full mouth rehabilitation, some clinicians often feel intimidated if they are required to make the restorations by themselves. This lecture will detail a protocol utilizing the chairside approach for the fabrication of full mouth rehabilitation.
