Patient-centric direct restorative approach to MiCD
Abstract
Clinical dentistry today has evolved to embrace a more patient-centric medical model where a minimally invasive treatment approach is advocated with greater emphasis on understanding patient needs and meeting the desired expectations. Recent advances in composite resin technology with bioactive properties have paved the way for direct restorations to be placed with more predictable outcomes, to help achieve the desired aesthetics and function while preserving sound tooth structure.
This presentation will highlight a variety of clinical scenarios and material placement techniques where direct restorations have been placed successfully to transform patient smiles with long-term clinical success.
