Victoria Wilson qualified from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2003 as a Dental Hygiene Therapist. Victoria began working in the NHS, soon moving to the private sector, working at Bow Lane Dental in the City of London and Dawood and Tanner on Wimpole Street.
Victoria's inherent interest for her work, lead her to work very closely with specialist Dental Surgeons, becoming an active member/organizer of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy in 2005, which in turn lead to her interest in research, publications, and presentations.
To date, Victoria has published peer-reviewed articles in 'Dental Health' under the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and the 'Primary Dental Journal' Royal College of Surgeons FGDP. She currently is a member of Council for the British Society of Dental Therapy, and a Mentor and awarded Champion for Heart Your Smile Charity.
In 2007 Victoria was amongst the 2 shortlisted for the Dental Therapist of the Year Award in the UK.
Victoria currently lives and works as a Dental Hygienist in Dubai, and has established Dental Hygiene Meetings for Dental Hygienists in the UAE. She continues to lecture to colleagues and other health professionals, sharing her knowledge through the media with a multidisciplinary approach, nurturing a platform for dental health creating awareness accessible to other professionals and the public.
Aside from Victoria's Dental background, she has worked extensively commercially, corporately and independently in TV, film working creatively, in production and as talent.
