Prof Koubi graduated from the University of Marseille in 1998.

He has a position of Associate Professor in the Restorative Department in Marseille 

University since 2008 and received his PHD in 2011. He has been a resident for 3 years in Paris University after his graduation. He has a private office in Marseille and a smile consultation in Paris. His main topic concern Esthetic rehabilitation for cosmetic reasons or functional reasons (worn dentition). He is invited to many prestigious aesthetic academies to lecture on a simple way to achieve high-level aesthetic dentistry and he is mainly focused on the teachability of aesthetic dentistry. He is a speaker in the aesthetic post-graduate programmes in many universities (Marseille, Strasbourg, Montpellier, Hochi Minh city, Hanoi). He received a Gold molar title from a student of his university (best teacher of the year) in 2012 and the title of the best french speaker the same year. He was awarded in 2014 of silver molar in 2014.

Since 2012 he is a member of the Style Italiano group in charge of the indirect topics.

He is the founder since 2013 of L’institut de la facette a private training centre focus on smile design for worn dentition and cosmetic rehabilitation.

He is the author of many scientific articles and case reports on aesthetic dentistry.

In march 2018 he has published in JPRD a novel simplified approach in the treatment of worn dentition called “the full mock-up concept”.

He is the author of the book “laminate veneer every day every wear: 20 recipe for smile design” which will be published by quintessence this year.
