Dr. Kurt Dawirs graduated from the University of Marburg with "state exam" degree (Study of Medicine/1987 and Study of Dentistry/1986). He has Specialist Studies in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery and did his doctorate in the Field of "Craniofacial Surgery and Implantology" (1992).

He is a member of the section "Implantology" of the DGMKG (German Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 2002 and the Director of the Section "Continuing Education" of the DGMKG since 2002.Besides his clinics in Germany, he is a continuous contributor at national and international congresses in the fields of Implantology, Augmentative Surgery and 3D-Navigation (1994 - today).
