Five days of excellence: 14 hands-on dental courses elevate skills across the region

Running from 12 to 16 November, 14 intensive hands-on dental courses took place across Dubai as part of the wider activities surrounding the 39th edition of the annual dental conference. These programmes, organised by CAPP, brought together the global dental community for five continuous days of advanced training before, during, and after the main event.

Held both at the CAPP Training Institute in Dubai and at the Madinat Jumeirah hotel during the main conference, the courses offered a rich, multidisciplinary experience designed for dentists from every specialty. Endodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, digital workflows, implantology, and many other disciplines were represented, creating a vibrant and comprehensive educational environment.

Participants had the opportunity to learn directly from internationally recognised experts, many of whom travelled from around the world to share their expertise, clinical philosophies, and hands-on guidance. These educators are widely respected for their contributions to advancing modern dentistry, and their presence elevated the entire learning experience.

Each course blended evidence-based theory with practical exercises, allowing attendees to practice under direct supervision, refine techniques, and receive personalised feedback. Delegates worked with state-of-the-art equipment, advanced digital systems, and the latest materials shaping contemporary dental care.

A defining feature of the five-day programme was the dedication and enthusiasm of the attendees. Dentists from various countries, backgrounds, and career stages took valuable time out of their schedules to invest in their professional development. Their commitment to learning was evident in the early starts, active participation, and eagerness to stay beyond scheduled hours to ask questions, perfect procedures, and exchange ideas. Their energy created a collaborative and inspiring atmosphere that was felt throughout every session.

CAPP also extended sincere appreciation to all sponsors and supporters who provided essential material support for the courses. Their contribution ensured that every delegate had access to high-quality instruments, consumables, models, and digital tools, enabling a seamless and enriching hands-on learning experience.

With fully booked sessions and strong demand across all disciplines, the hands-on programme once again reinforced its reputation as one of the most valuable components of the event. For many participants, these sessions offered not only practical skill enhancement but also memorable learning moments, meaningful professional connections, and the confidence to bring new techniques into everyday practice.
