Presentation: The Current World of Images in Implantology
This training session will allow participants to understand the world of images in dentistry and implantology. The world of images in coming into dental practices but very often, dentists can hardly understand what kind of tools should be selected to integrate this world. Most of the systems are closed and protected by strong monopoles. Dentists are perplexed about the use of these tools. Uniguide software program, developed by Philippe Tardieu, is an open program, it is a new and innovative suite of modules in the field of computer-guided implantology and diagnosis (impacted teeth, tumors, nerve path…). It includes 3 modules: U Treat for image treatment, U Plan for implant planning and U Design to design surgical guides. Hands-on will allow dentist to work on a demo program and discover all the friendly and useful tools in an every day practice.

Presentation: Implant Treatment in the Aesthetic Zone
Implant dentistry is now part of routine dental treatment. It is no longer enough for an implant to merely osseointegrate; it must be esthetic as well. The maxillary anterior dental implant is perhaps the most challenging for the clinician. A multiplicity of techniques must be mastered including but not limited to ideal implant placement, proper surgical technique, bone augmentation, soft tissue development and proper restoration.

Presentation: Aesthetics, Implants and Occlusion: Computerized Dentistry for Private Practice »
Over the past few years there have been many advances in Implants, Aesthetics and Occlusion. Using computerized techniques and digital impressions we can now predictably restore teeth in the anterior aesthetic zone. Implant restorations using new ceramic materials will be discussed and demonstrated. Using virtual models of articulation we can restore single units as well as full arches with computerized abutments. Using Aesthetic principles we can restore tooth aesthetics and facial aesthetics to its original beautiful colors. Evaluating different ceramic materials will also advance our knowledge as to when to use which materials for the worn dentition. In addition, understanding Vertical Dimension of Occlusion and establishing the envelope of motion to create long-lasting restorations.
Presentation: Implant Restorations in the Aesthetic Zone: New Technologies and Techniques »
There are new ceramic materials available and new materials for provisional restorations during long term healing of anterior implant cases. With these techniques we can preserve the gingival tissues and get a better aesthetic outcome for final implant restorations. Using provisional restorations and sound digital imaging techniques we can place implants in the proper areas to optimize implant aesthetics. Using principles of facial aesthetic design we can enhance all facial and dental aesthetics in combination with natural teeth and implants. Cad/Cam scanning and monolithic materials can predictably give us superior aesthetics in a one-visit protocol. Finalizing all the patient treatments with prosthodontic occlusion principles will allow our patients restorations to have a long term prognosis.
