Hands-on: Hand filing and lateral compaction techniques.

DAY 1

Aims: To understand modern technological advances in endodontic treatment modalities; to understand the role of chemomechanical debridement in the treatment of pulpal and periapical disease; to understand the interaction between the dentine-pulp complex/ microbiology and human immune response in endodontic disease.

Objectives: Students will be able to relate histological pulp changes to clinical signs and symptoms, be able to classify endodontic diseases and understand the benefits and limitations of current treatment modalities.
