Prof. Dr. Peter Pospiech, Germany
Prof. Dr. Peter Pospiech graduated from the University of Duesseldorf, Germany with Masters Degrees (Staatsexamen).
He obtained a Dr.-Degree from the University of Duesseldorf in 1988, Habilitation (PhD) on "All-ceramic resin-bonded bridges" in 1997, Venia legendi and Position as an Associate Professor and Degree of a "Qualified Specialist in Prosthodontics" from the German Association of Prosthodontics and Dental Materials Science (DGZPW) in 1997.
He is Assistant Professor at the University of Regensburg, Dep. of Prosthetic Dentistry (1987 - 1990), Visiting doctor at the University of Adelaide in 1989, from 1991 to 2002 he works in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Dental Materials Sciences at the University of Munich (LMU), Visiting Professor at the University of Washington, Seattle at the Dep. of Restorative Dentistry (August 1999 - April 2000).
From 2002 to 2011 Prof. Dr. Peter Pospiech is a Chairman of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Dental Materials Science, Saarland University (Homburg, Saarland), an Acting Chair of the Dental Faculty (2007 - 2011), a Dean for Student affairs (2008 - 2011).
Since April 2012 Prof. Dr. Peter Pospiech is a Chairman of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Dental Materials Science, Danube Private University (Krems, Austria).
The main topics of his interest are clinical research on all-ceramic restorations, partial dentures, resin-cements, adhesive bridges, CAD/CAM for Dental ceramics, ceramics in Implantology, Impression materials.

Dr. Julian Caplan
Dr. Julian Caplan is in the Board of Directors for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is one of a handful of dentists in the UK that is a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Fully committed to postgraduate training he has attained Masters level in Aesthetic Dentistry, being a UK instructor for Dr. Larry Rosenthal and has recently completed level 3 Dawson on occlusion in the USA.
Julian has a special interest in CAD/CAM dentistry, teaching other dentists how to use this revolutionary technology to make crowns and veneers in a single visit.

Dr. Faysal G. Succaria, UAE
DDS MSD
Dr. Succaria is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He currently holds the position of assistant professor at Boston University Institute for Dental Research and Education Dubai in the department of Prosthodontics. He also holds an appointment as adjunct assistant professor at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
Dr. Succaria completed his pre-doctoral degree in Beirut (2003), Lebanon where he also maintained a private practice. Dr. Succaria completed the dual CAGS/MSD post-doctoral residency program in Prosthodontics (2009) at Boston University. Dr. Succaria has conducted and lectured on biomaterials research and color and is currently involved in ongoing research on ceramics.

Dr. Peter Gehrke, Germany
Dr. Peter U. Gehrke completed his graduate studies at the University of Berlin School of Dental Medicine in Germany in 1991, where he received his Approbation as Dentist and his degree as Dr. med. dent. in 1992. Dr. Gehrke pursued postgraduate specialities in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry in Germany and was awarded the Schering Pharmaceutical Industries Scholarship. He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with international postdoctoral training in the Division of Restorative and Prosthodontic Sciences Department of Implant Dentistry. He is co-author of the text book "Fundamentals of Esthetic Implant Dentistry" (Blackwell Publishing), has authored innumerable articles, and lectures nationally and internationally on implant macro- and micro design, biomechanics, and implant prosthodontics. Dr. Gehrke is on the Editorial Advisory Board of TITANIUM, The International Journal of Dental Implants and Biomaterials and an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, the European Association for Osseointegration, the International College of Prosthodontics, and the German Society of Implantology (DGI).

Dr. Ziad Salameh
DDS, MSc, PhD, FICD
Dr. Salameh obtained his DDS and Master in Prosthodontics from Saint Joseph University, Beirut, Lebanon. He obtained a Master and PhD in "Biomaterials and their Clinical Applications" from Siena University, Italy.
Currently he is an Assistant Professor / Researcher at the Research Department, School of Dentistry, Lebanese University, Lebanon. He is also an adjunct professor at the Center for Craniofacial Regeneration at the University of Pittsburgh, USA.
He has lectured regionally and internationally and conducted several seminars.

Rik Jacobs
Rik Jacobs is born on 29 May 1970. He studied International Marketing Management in The Netherlands. Since 2000 he worked for Vertex Dental B.V. Since 1 January 2008 is member of board of directors/shareholder. In the present job he is responsible for Business Development, Marketing and Sales. He created The Vertex Dental Academy in 2007 and opened offices together with the board in Singapore and China showed incredible grow figures and all these successes leaded to the title of Export Manager in The Netherlands in 2007. Besides, Vertex Dental reached 2nd in the Jan Huyghen van Linschoten Price in 2008.

Joachim A. Maier, MDT, Germany
1992 after apprenticeship for dental technology in Stuttgart he worked as dental technician at School for Dental Medicine, Tubingen, Germany. Five years at a renowned laboratory in Stuttgart were followed by a collaboration with Kenneth A. Malament DDS, MScD, in Boston, USA and support as visiting lecturer the Postdoctoral Program for Prosthodontics at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine and Harvard School for Dental Medicine in Boston, USA.
In 1999 Joachim Maier left Master School in Munich, Germany, awarded. In the same year he was co-founder and part owner of Bodensee Dentaltechnik AG, a metal free dental laboratory limited to All Ceramic and CAD/CAM technology in Meersburg, Germany.
2008 he won the award "Best Lecture of 2008" at ADT Congress in Stuttgart, Germany.
Today he is running the Bodensee Oral Design Center, located in Uberlingen at Lake Constance in South of Germany. The laboratory is specialised on fixed prosthesis with All Ceramic Systems.
He gives presentations and courses on All Ceramic, minimal invasive restorations, implant borne prosthesis, CAD/CAM technology and reports on his experience with over 8000 Units of Zirconia in Europe, United States and Asia.

Prof. Dr. Jef van der Zel, The Netherlands
Jef van der Zel (1947) received his doctoral degree in metallurgy at the Technical University of Delft in 1972. From 1972-1975 he worked as senior research engineer for AngloAmerican in Zambia and returned for 2 years to the the TU of Delft in the Department of Material Science. In 1977 he became co-founder en technical director of Elephant Dental BV responsible for the development and production of dental alloys, CARRARA and SAKURA porcelain systems. As one of the CAD/CAM pioneers he was involved in the development of the first laboratory system (CICERO CAD/CAM) in 1988. In 1989 he obtained his PhD-degree on the thesis entitled "High-temperature behavior of high-palladium dental alloys". In 1997 he received the King William I award for innovation and technology out of the hands of his royal highness Prince Claus. In 2003 he became the first professor in computerized dentistry at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). From 2007-2012 he developed with his team the CYRTINA PRIMERO integrated CAD/CAM-technology. He is chairman of the ISO/TC106 Group for standardization of dental CAD/CAM. He is holder of many international patents and has published around 100 articles on dental materials and CAD/CAM.

Dr. Firas Bukai, DMD FAGD FICOI
Dr. Bukai got his DMD from Tufts in Boston in 1996 GPR Residency from Loyola of Chicago in 1997, obtained his AGD Fellowship in 2001 and the ICOI fellowship in 2012.
Currently he practices at smile Design Dental clinics in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia which is the only true paperless dental practice in the Kingdom and complete digital practice as well.
