In 1987 he was Founding Member of the European Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (EAED) and Founding President of the German Association of Aesthetic Dentistry (DGAEZ) in 1992.
1992 and 1994 he was publisher and co-author of the 2 volume textbook "Aesthetics and Function".
As Founding President of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry (ESCD) in 2003 he was significantly involved into the European wide certification system and quality management.
